-I am permitted to use protocol to monitor for secretive SF marsh birds-Trained to monitor for California Ridgway's Rail, California Black Rail, Virginia Rail, Sora, American Bittern, Least Bittern, Yellow Rail during breeding season-Follow a 10 minute protocol, take bearings, estimate distance (m) and number of birds present-Plot location of birds on a map

-Lead and assist in restoration projects and resource protection projects-EDRR and remove invasive plants-Native and invasive vegetation monitoring-Conduct habitat monitoring that includes small mammals, reptiles, amphibians and birds

- Initiated, designed and developed original research project on invasive marsh plant, Limonium ramosissimum (LIRA)- Wrote a proposal and obtained funding for LIRA research- Recruited, trained, and managed volunteers to assist in the LIRA Research Project- Expanded community outreach through LIRA Research Project and Marsh Restoration Project- Fostered external professional relationships with the San Francisco Estuary Invasive Spartina Project and Coyote Point Park Rangers to collaboratively support the LIRA Research Project- Funded by the Moore Foundation and the Hillsborough Garden Club- Published and presented LIRA Research Project poster at SERCAL 2019 conference with 4 teen volunteers who worked on the LIRA research - Led community science bioblitz events in partnership with the California Academy of Sciences- Delivered FrogWatch USA™ training course annually
