I am an environmental professional with long term goals of enhancing levels of environmental justice and environmental health in Northern California, and more specifically, the Bay Area. I have lived my whole life in California. I was born and raised just past the northern outskirts of the Bay Area, in Lake County. I have lived, worked, and studied in the East Bay for 6 years now. I am firmly dedicated to the health of my community not just environmentally, but also socially. In my six years in the Bay Area, I have worked on projects topics ranging from Forest Health research papers, to large scale wetland restoration, to anti-gentrification awareness. Currently, I am striving to integrate my current company into the growing Forestry workforce so that we can be part of the solution to the growing threat of wildfire. I have also created and Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion committee at my company and am leading an effort there to create an anti-racist, anti-oppression, and equitable work environment.
