I’m an executive, writer, naturalist, film-maker, and wilderness guide trained in ecology and anthropology. For nearly 20 years with Eikosphere and Natural Intelligence Media, I’ve produced shorts, commercials, music videos, films, and interactive experiences for intl. clients in business and government aimed at delivering positive economic, social, and environmental narratives on global conservation and climate change. I’ve lead excursions in the Sierras, Rockies, and Alps with Wilderness Ventures, Mountain Travel Sobek, and Rainbow Ventures. Now I am leading trips with Natural Intelligence. I've taught corporate sustainability & communications at Arizona State University; global sustainability at Chapman University; biology, ecology, botany, and environmental science at Denver State. In 2016, I designed one of the first hybrid virtual/real university courses on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well, a post-graduate program with UNESCO for the MAB (Man the Biosphere).Over my career, I’ve written, photographed, and filmed in 74 countries, still developing compelling narratives for clients in nature, business, government, finance, and society to awaken our connection to the natural world and to ground our commitment to regenerate healthy ecosystems. As a media host, I’ve interviewed 100’s of global thought leaders on the future, nature, and endemic wisdom. Partnering with Eurovision News and Events, I was the media producer and host of a program called Natural Intelligence Worldwide. Also with EBU, I directed and executive produced Nature's Newsroom @COP 26 for GCA, Nature4Climate, IUCN, WWF, CI, TNC, ReWild, EDN among others. My NI media team and I are now partnered with the Earth Elders in sharing their wisdom with the world during these challenging times. I’ve written numerous articles on nature, health, wealth, & sustainability for Thrive Global and forever writing “Naturally Intelligent by Design" (NID)— a survival guide for the future based on nature's life principles, wildlife wisdom, and our endemic knowledge. I’ve earned my PhD in Ecology at ETHZ in Switzerland, studying climate impacts on mountain ecosystems. Yes, epically challenging; especially in German. I hold a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Intl. Peace Studies from Notre Dame, and a MS from Utah State in Ecology. I speak English and Italian, forever testing my German, French, and Spanish. I LOVE nature, adventure, travel, culture, photography, filmmaking, music, yoga, and mountaineering. I live in California and Italy. I’m grateful for friends, family, community.
