-Model demand, plan replenishment, and manage inventory for over 100,000 SKUS with an emphasis on ensuring service level goals are achieved at the lowest possible cost -Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams and provide business insights to make all inventory decisions. Ensure minimal delays to customers while balancing goals for portfolio, sales, sourcing, inventory control, transportation, finance, and supply chain teams-Analyze new business opportunities with Portfolio and Sales teams and make executive decisions for new product launches and customer specific inventory requests based on factors such as cost-benefit analysis-Utilize Oracle in conjunction with SAP to provide an accurate monthly forecast for all 50,000 plus stocked items. Ensure that all consumption and planning parameters are appropriately updated based off prior 3 months’ data-Monitor warehouse capacity and identify constrained areas or countermeasures in place to address capacity issues. Work with Distribution teams to conduct root cause analysis and adjust stocking strategy as needed-Partner with commercial, pricing, and warehouse teams to execute 80/20 SKU rationalization and identify areas of opportunity to leverage pricing or discontinue materials based on profitability-Conduct ad hoc analyses for various teams and provide detailed reporting that is easily digestible by all levels

-Identified areas of opportunity in vendor return process which resulted in additional $430,000 of E & O inventory being returned in 2020-Implemented bi-weekly inventory cleanup process which cleared $329,000 of unapproved inventory -Analyze and determine appropriate stocking parameters for over 7000 SKUs on a monthly basis under the following categories: Life Sciences, Filtration, and Chromatography-Reevaluate stocking strategy for over 18,000 items on a quarterly basis and determine where to stock items based on criteria such as demand hits, customers’ geographic location, cost, shelf life, storage conditions, and capacity at each warehouse-Responsible for maintaining a 95% service level to customers while keeping DIOH below 22 days-Analyze inventory positions working with Portfolio and Strategic Sourcing when negotiating large quantity buys or new product launches-Conduct manual lead time reviews for vendors with Made to Order products and ensure that information provided is not inflated-Manage COVID-19 impacts including supplier allocations, demand spikes, industry shortages, transportation delays, and customer shutdowns-Manage vendor relationships and collaborate on expedite requests to ensure that customers do not have delays in production

-Manage supplier relationships to ensure high service level and fill rates to VWR and our customers-Utilize SAP, Excel, Access, and Qlikview in daily activities to trend and analyze supplier production issues -Act as a liaison between Suppliers, Sales, Customer Service, and Planners and ensure all stakeholders are working collaboratively-Resolved procurement issues related to pricing, unit of measure discrepancies, shortages, overages, and invoice discrepancies and identified underlying issues to be corrected in VWR or vendor’s system-Led training of new members and demonstrated ability to transfer skills to fellow teammates
