I am a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning specialist, with 17 years’ experience in monitoring, evaluation and research in Asia, Africa and the Pacific. My work has covered a range of sectors including community based resource management, energy access, gender and social inclusion, climate resilience, low carbon development, urban development, humanitarian response, governance, and innovation. My experience includes design, strengthening and delivery of: M&E frameworks, theories of change, results frameworks, research frameworks, indicators, qualitative and quantitative data collection tools, data analysis plans and stakeholder engagement strategies. This includes engaging with technical specialists such as value for money experts and independent monitoring experts to optimise and align approaches and methods. I have designed and delivered a number of complex performance, process and macro evaluations (formative and summative) for major donors, including DFAT, UK FCDO, World Bank and USAID/OFDA, including evaluability assessments, annual reviews, mid-term reviews and final evaluations. I have built in learning as an integral component of monitoring systems and evaluations to enable adaptive programming.
