About Tait Brimacombe

Gender equality, disability and social inclusion (GEDSI) Advisor, primarily supporting gender integration into infrastructure investment in the Pacific region. My primary interest is gender in digital development, including support for Australia Infrastructure Financing Facility for the Pacific (AIFFP), DFAT and World Bank investments in digital infrastructure. This work includes undertaking gender analysis, contributions to program design and evaluation, report writing and production of learning and communications outputs. I have a strong focus on partnership approaches, relationship management, communication and coordination. I have provided research and teaching support services for various applied and academic research projects including for The University of Adelaide, La Trobe University and RMIT. This includes support to academic funding/grant applications, course coordination, lecturing and tutoring services, marking, research and academic publication. As a facilitator, I have contributed to partnership processes with various international development stakeholders - offering research and management support to partnership brokering processes and co-facilitating partnership review and development workshops. At a domestic level, I have also worked in the non-government sector as a respectful relationships facilitator - leading the delivery of prevention of gender based violence workshops in primary schools in South Australia.
