Catherine practices criminal defense in the Twin Cities Metro area in both state and federal court. she has worked as a state public defender as well as taking conflict cases from the Federal Public Defender's office. She has tried over 40 jury trials. She is a past board member of the MACDL, a general member of the NACDL, and has attended the National Criminal Defense College Trial Practice Institute. She has advocated for criminal justice reform in front of the Minnesota Senate, and continues to train other lawyers in trial practice and client advocacy both in Minnesota and nationally. She has the skills and experience to handle any criminal matter, however she focuses on serious felonies such as coercion, conspiracy, criminal sexual conduct, murder, and federal offenses.
