Through this role, I gained experience in both business and programming areas at Farmers Insurance. I worked with Node.js to develop code for the mobile application back-end and with SonarQube to assess bugs, resolve vulnerabilities, and create test cases in Java for the web API. I also used Rally to create user stories for Farmers' Eastern Expansion mission to offer services to 11 additional states.

I demonstrated weekly STEM projects to local elementary school students spanning different units including aerospace, chemistry, physics, and biology. Doing so, I was fortunate enough to interact with young minds and encourage them to take courses on and pursue careers in science and technology. I also recorded and inputted data, mostly surveys from the students, for the role in order to improve on my performance and cater to their interests.

I worked for eleven weeks as a systems engineering intern on the Avionics subsystem team of the Europa Clipper project.
