I built websites for various University of Bristol research projects using the University’s WordPress hosting service. I also built Drupal websites for other clients: Barema (The Association for Anaesthetic and Respiratory Device Suppliers), Athena SWAN and Jane Reeves Gallery.Working with key stakeholders, scoping, requirements analysis, site planning and implementation. Identifying and configuring additional WordPress plugins, creating child themes and custom post (content) types/fields, php template changes, custom CSS and importing data onto the websites. Produced training guides containing clear instructions for non-technical users on how to use the websites. Facilitated training sessions for site editors/administrators. Sourcing and optimising good quality images for use on the websites. Delivered T4 and Plone CMS training workshop for web publishers in the school.

HP acquired EDS in August 2008. I continued in my role as Systems Engineer and worked on the following projects:• Updated data model for the Shell TRACED Consumption Data System. Dealing with new user requests. Requesting monthly consumption data from suppliers and liaising with suppliers re data issues.• Configuration management and tracking of Rolls-Royce application software packages (Harvest). Packaging applications ready for porting (Unix shell scripts). Dispatch of bundled software. Building, distributing and launch testing ported applications. • Integration testing of encrypted and digitally signed email between Rolls-Royce and external customers. Support of the secure email system following implementation.

• Rolls-Royce EJ200 In Service Support System (ISSS) - requirements analysis and detailed design of Engineering Support Tasks using UML. Engineering Support Task form designs (HTML/JavaScript).• Development of ISSS Technical Library application using OpenText Livelink.• Development of new C program and amendments made to existing Rolls-Royce Shafts Engineering Key System programs (Fortran).• Development of GUI for Whole Engine Key System (C + X Motif).• Modifications made to Variable Geometry for Relief Valves programs (C + Fortran).• Rolls-Royce Enhanced Procurement System (EPS) Message Handler - Implementation and testing of new Windows 2003 production and development servers. Installing, configuring and testing Amoss 2000 software.• Supporting the EPS EDI Message Handler System, and making changes to Amoss 2000 software, Mercator Maps and Rexx scripts as required.• Technical Design, programming (COBOL) and Link testing of changes made to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) Disability Living Allowance system to incorporate the Disability and Carers Service reorganisation.• Functional Design, Full Business Test Preparation & Execution for required changes to the DWP Social Fund Computer System to incorporate Automated Credit and Child Tax Credit.• Developed and tested Service Data Manager (SDM) data Migration module in VBA (Microsoft Access 2000) to incorporate data from excel spreadsheet for the Rolls-Royce Spey Engine project.
