We are a non-profit charitable organization whose main goal is to improve the health of pregnant women and their babies through our programs. FREE online courses are available at www.fetalmedicineusa.com in FTS, Doppler ultrasound, echocardiography, cervical assessment, videos of fetal defects and lectures. Accreditation is offered for NT and 5 additional FTS ultrasound markers.My responsibilities include:Provide didactic and hands-on instruction and training at land-based courses/conferences for the Fetal Medicine Foundation.Create reference card laminates to sustain and re-inforce the training given during live sessions.Provide feedback and constructive critique to further improve scanning techniques on an ongoing basis.

*Passion and dedication for sonography! *Motivated to share and teach others on how to perform scans with emphasis on acquiring the proper image and methodically evaluating structures. Emphasizing pathology and what to look for systematically. *I have developed and created multiple teaching aids to standardize techniques in our department. I work with over 23 sonographers with various skill levels from the new graduate to more seasoned and am responsible for introducing techniques and maintaining standards as well as implementing protocols for various research projects with our MFM fellows.*Clinical professional associate with Wright State University and also assist in the training of our OB residents and MFM fellows. My strengths are in personal interaction and hands-on teaching verses straight lecture. *Created many inexpensive simulation devices to train MFM fellows in ultrasound guided procedures designed to improve communication and skill level.
