Intergovernmental Relations:Ongoing management of the Procurement Reform Task Force (PRTF) consisting of 7 City Sister Agencies : Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Transit Authority, Chicago Housing Authority, City Colleges of Chicago, Chicago Park District and Public Building Commission. Program goal is to distinguish successful practices, identify areas for improvement and promote a greater level of uniformity across City government agencies. Multi-year initiative will have impacts throughout the region and has received national recognition. Government Procurement Compliance (GPC) Forum. Partnership of 30+ City, County, State and Federal government procurement and compliance officials, non-profit assist agencies. Responsible for leading the development of organization structure/mission, facilitating work of subcommittees engaged in benchmarking/best practice research, created platforms for member/interagency communication, chair monthly meetings, secured pro bono partnerships to assist with organization objectives.Marketing/Communications:Responsible for the management of all media, marketing and public relations activities for the department. Promotion of innovative programming and legislative solutions to increase participation by small, minority and women owned businesses in over $2 billion in contracting opportunities by the City of Chicago. Managed the development of the first branding initiative to create a departmental identity consistent with its mission of transparency and integrity. Instituted social media program. Training/Outreach:Management of comprehensive outreach & training program which includes 100+ events annually throughout Chicago and the region. Produced a series of animated video modules designed to educate stakeholders about programs and incentives designed to increase competition and build capacity of local small businesses. Responsible for the direction of multiple large-scale events annually.

Project Management: Manage planning, strategy, and communication for projects at O’Hare International Airport, including large public events. Led planning meetings for projects that require planning months ahead of an event and communicating across several departments. Ensure logistics related to large events meet goals and deadlines. Schedule projects to meet strict restrictions related to security and public safety. Managed support staff.Communications: Interfaced with key stakeholders to plan projects to publicize the city and its benefits. Execute outreach to community groups, vendors, and foreign delegations.
