I provide solutions for clients' trade compliance and suppIy chain security needs, especially in the U.S. Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT). Within C-TPAT, I guide U.S. importers and their service providers through the C-TPAT application and certification process, offer support on Supply Chain Risk Assessments, and coach partners attempting to attain C-TPAT Tier 3 status. As a Fulbright Foundation Specialist Scholar, I also am available to work with other countries on supply chain security through Fulbright Foundation approved projects .

I led more than 300 companies through the C-TPAT certification and validation process in Asia, Europe, and North and South America. I also helped C-TPAT partners attain the coveted Tier 3 status, managed cases to remove companies from C-TPAT for smuggling drugs, biological products and aliens, and gave more than 50 presentations describing the program's origins, development and policies.Before C-TPAT, I worked for Customs and Border Protection in trade compliance, and for the U.S. Department of Commerce as an supervisory international economist in Washington D.C. There, I participated in the Tokyo Round Trade Negotiations in Geneva, Switzerland and authored the WTO's International Agreement on Quotas and Import Licensing Procedures.
