The Director, Online Education is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of the Annual Meeting Saturday Education Courses, online education offerings and related systems, policies, and processes. This position also oversees the Continuing Medical Education (CME) programs, ensuring compliance with the Accreditation Council of Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) polices and regulations, including reaccreditation policies and procedures. Overseeing the Professional Development and Education Committee (PDEC), as well as other committees related to content development for online programming and Saturday courses at the Annual Meeting. This position manages one direct report, the Manager, Online Education and Instructional Design, providing supervision and shared implementation responsibility for designing, delivering and evaluating new educational products using a variety of online formats.
