As part of my work as a Graduate Research Assistant with Carleton University, I'm assisting with the production of a 6-part podcast series titled "Common Sense: Planetary Curriculums for a Planetary Commons". My work has included researching potential podcast guests, including identifying relevant comments from former interviews and publications, transcribing interviews, reviewing interview greens, and leading team tutorials on Asana. I've assisted with in-person research including recording audio clips.

As a Graduate Research Assistant in the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University, I produced a thirty-page bibliography on environmental racism and toxicity in relation to the Salton Sea in California. This research was conducted using academic databases, search engines including Google, and the book titled "The Settler Sea: California's Salton Sea and the Consequences of Colonialism" by Traci Brynne Voyles.

As part of my work as a Graduate Research Assistant with Carleton University in the School of Journalism and Communication, I manually coded 412 text-based news articles on pipelines including Enbridge Northern Gateway, Energy East, and Trans Mountain. This work included refining the coding sheet and manually reading and coding each news article, identifying specific traits and qualities.

I am responsible for creating timely and engaging posts which includes digital photography, editing in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop CC, caption-writing, and responding to inquiries and comments from customers. My work promotes customer engagement with the brand and provides purchase opportunities for customers. More than that, it creates a personable and community-centered brand.

As a Communications Assistant at Pacific Wild, I supported the organization's mission to protect wildlife and their habitats on the Pacific coast. During my work with Vancouver-based wellness beauty brand Aralea Beauty as an Email Marketing Manager, I created promotional and brand-relevant material and communicated on behalf of Aralea Beauty to an email list of 100+ subscribers. I designed the monthly newsletter and shared our favourite happenings in Vancouver, and through this, nurtured our relations with the Vancouver community and connected with like-minded business owners in the community.

I was the lead digital marketer for Vancouver-based wellness beauty startup Aralea Beauty. Following a four-month internship with Aralea Beauty, I began work as the brand's lead digital marketer. My work was a continuation of the work I began during my internship which included developing and maintaining the brand's digital presence, including copywriting, content creation, and outreach. During my work with Aralea, the brand launched into two retail stores. I was also part of Bespoke Market, a Vancouver-based market in which we worked with customers in-person to demonstrate our products. My time with Aralea spoke to many creative outlets I've found myself gravitating towards throughout my life including content writing, original photography and videography, and content creation.
