My career has focused on marketing, sales, business strategy and entrepreneurial management. The greatest satisfaction has come from working with talented people to lead and build new and successful businesses in diverse markets including advertising (Mullen), market research (NFO and InsightExpress.com), media (Van Wagner), and most recently, environmental sustainability (Cambridge Water Technology which we just sold to Siemens). Surround yourself with good people and there is no end to what you can achieve. All the above has been buttressed by an enduring commitment to succeed no matter the challenge whether it be in sport, business, or community projects. Hard work, a let's-get-it-done attitude, a commitment to employees and unflagging optimism have fueled the successes and helped overcome the failures.And I have found great pleasure in teaching hundreds of children how to row, sail, and ski, many of whom have learned the lessons of sport and applied them to fuel their own successes.I look forward to many more years employing my business management experience and acumen to the enduring challenges of business development and sustainability.
