As a POC Lead and member of the Veterans Affairs (VA) Cyber Security Service Desk (CSSD) Triage Team, my primary responsibility is to assess, triage, and coordinate the resolution of cybersecurity incidents and service requests reported by VA employees and stakeholders. I work closely with the CSSD team to ensure a timely and effective response to cybersecurity issues within the VA network and systems. My role involves reviewing, analyzing, and prioritizing incoming tickets, incidents, and requests to ensure appropriate handling and resolution. With respect to the request, I ensure that the documentation provided is correct and includes the necessary details to qualify for consideration and implementation on the network. I have also been tasked with helping evolve and lead the Enterprise Risk Analysis triage team and the newly formed Poa&M Triage Team while providing input on any necessary changes and improvements that will ensure VA cybersecurity requirements are continually met. I have currently obtained the ISC2 Certified in Cybersecurity, the coveted ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certifications, and EC-Council's Associate Certified Chief Information Security Officer.
