At Google, I started and ran the open source program office, ran engineering in google.org, helped across Alphabet's entities as varied as Waymo, Intrinsic, Verily and more, helped run the maker effort, science outreach, worked with GV, GCapital, and so, so much more. I helped hire close to 3000 people, including much of the android and platforms teams and maintained our relationships with the hundred of thousands of developers the world over. The open source teams I built and nurtured are to a one remarkable people and I'll always treasure our work together.

Continuing on from my role as an advisor for Imeem, Dalton asked me to continue in this lightweight advisory capacity for MML.

IRILL does interesting research into Open Source and Innovation in Paris, France and they've asked for my input on the subject.

I'm helping with the technical aspects of the memorial trying to come up with interesting and innovative ways of bringing President Eisenhower's life and accomplishments to life for the visitors, real and virtual, to the memorial.

I was an Advisor to Imeem through the life of the company. It was quite interesting, indeed.

The last place I would tolerate an evangelist title, VA was a formative, important, exciting and fantastic spring board for my career as it was for so many other brilliant individuals. I worked for 4 years on projects as varied as running tech support, working on the IPO team, M&A and finally as an editor on http://slashdot.org. I will always remember VA with great fondness.
