I am an experienced engineering leader with a background in both delivery team leadership and functional/project governance modelling and application, covering all phases of the programme life-cycles and business delivery models within large and medium sized engineering businesses. I have a robust, process led approach to project and product delivery leading large, small and diverse engineering teams to successfully deliver to challenging objectives while managing customer's expectations.With a focus on risk, issue and change management, and a strong belief in building solid cross functional teams and individuals to deliver to targets, I continually look to improve project delivery systems through efficiency modelling and challenging established practices, processes and strategy to interrogate for continued fitness for use in a rapidly changing environment. I have experience in managing all aspects and disciplines of product design (Systems, Software, Hardware, Mechanical, etc.) as well as product assurance and product sign-off activities, and across several locations and cultures (China, India, Korea, Europe, etc.). I drive with a sense of urgency while maintaining ownership and accountability at the right level, supporting the teams to succeed, and recognising when they do.In my current role as Engineering Management Lead for the UK, I drive and chair the monthly engineering performance reviews as well as the functional Supply vs Demand reviews, and have worked with Engineering Managers at all levels, in addition to the SLT to build the capability of the function through talent management and recruitment, to promote best practices and to deploy organisational and tool changes to drive for a fit-for-purpose group.
