I am a part of the the Mental Health Team at the Office of Student Health and Wellness. I am in a position supported by the Mental Health Professionals (MHP) Grant awarded to CPS in 2019. Adhering to the grant objectives, I aid in building our Related Service Providers pipelines to better meet the needs of CPS schools and leading efforts to improve the readiness of Related Service Providers to support mental health initiatives. I have the objective of developing and managing program structures to ensure smooth and effective operations on a daily basis and during peak periods of recruitment, application, and staffing.-Manage program calendar, candidate submissions and files, and candidate compliance on program requirements- Manage and direct candidate inquiries about the program structure and requirements via phone and email - Process a wide variety of paperwork in support of the administration and growth of Related Service Providers, especially nursing professions, pipelines across the district- Plan and execute program events in partnership with the designated recruitment specialists, including securing vendors, venues, and materials- Assess and prioritize requests and issues both from candidates and the internal team as they arise on a day-to-day basis- Develop and oversee evaluation strategies for programming and grants necessary to advance the MHP Grant vision, policy, and strategic goals, including providing high-quality summaries, presentations, and reports for a variety of audiences- Monitoring and providing mental health professional developments, such as YMHFA certification and Suicide Prevention and Awareness Training, for CPS staff

- Adapted and facilitated self-care and suicide prevention workshops; and guided students in dire situations towards resources and support- Disseminated peer-reviewed, scientific literature that is designed with Canva or Photoshop to promote student wellness across campus- Liaised for Mental Health Awareness Collective and Latin American Student Organization

- Accepted to a highly competitive Carleton program and interned in Shanghai, China for LBA, an education non-profit for children- Served as a Chinese translator for my supervisor, assessed classroom behavior and health, and substituted for teachers- Coordinated summer camp events with Chinese locals and LBA faculty from different nationalities

- Represented the Latino Cultural House (CASA) on campus - Liaised with Offices of Intercultural + International Life and Residential Life - Launched programs to build community within and outside of the house
