I was responsible for ensuring a fresh and safe culture for our Consumables and Starbucks departments. I had two teams that I oversaw in these different departments. For Consumables I was responsible for leading the team in a busy PFresh store. I received daily trucks with freight for dry, refrigerated, and frozen food goods. I managed the team to keep our floor fully stocked and fresh at all times. I worked with my team on culling practices, merchandising, ordering, cleanliness guidelines, signing, and various other tasks to ensure a great experience for our guests. For Starbucks I was responsible for leading the team to adhere to the guidelines put in place by Starbucks. This included morning and evening routines that ensured a great setup for productivity and safety. I rolled out limited edition merchandise events based on seasons, kept track of our inventory for proper ordering, and ensured all safety guidelines for food handling were met.

I ran a small home daycare where I obtained a dual certification with the State of California and the United States Navy. I was responsible for the care and safety of 6 children ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. I ran a competitive program which included a monthly themed curriculum, sensory centered activities, and meal preparations and family styled meals that were in accordance with the food program guidelines. I attended monthly trainings in the field of child development and safety. I kept an organized account of all records for the children in my program for various purposes including: child development, vaccinations, attendance, special medical requirements, meals attended, and financial records for each child.
