About Celinda Appleby

I am the Global Director of Talent Attraction at Visa, where I lead the design and implementation of marketing strategies that help attract and engage our future employees. With over 15 years of experience in talent acquisition, I have developed a passion and expertise for creating consumer-grade experiences for job seekers and consumers alike, working for F100s such as Visa, Nike, Oracle, and HP.In my current role, I am responsible for several global projects that support Visa's talent attraction goals, such as designing and implementing a search engine strategy [SEO & SEM] for our new career site, crafting branding and communications for our recruitment marketing efforts, and most recently refreshing our Employee Value Proposition [EVP]. I collaborate with cross-functional colleagues, partners, and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that showcase Visa's culture, values, and career opportunities. As a passion project, I provide creative feedback on campaign deliverables featuring underrepresented talent for national Visa marketing collateral, as an Advisory Council Member for the Creative Review Advisory Council. I bet you have seen several of the commercials during the NFL games that I was lucky to influence during the conception process. Additionally, I volunteer as a career coach and an advisory board member for various organizations, giving back to my community and the talent acquisition profession. In my spare time, you can find me cheering my twin boys at a high school baseball field or shopping at sneaker conferences.
