Hired on a contract basis in 2013, I trained new exhibit lead hands and staff. From 2009-2012, I was in charge of hiring and training new staff and volunteers, as well as developing, managing and enhancing various programs under a predetermined budget. I worked with management, public programming and a team of exhibit lead hands to determine objectives and assess performance of staff and volunteers. During the off-season, I delivered educational programs to school groups (ranging from preschool to junior high), and trained fellow teachers in various programs. I also held the title of exhibit interpreter, delivering interpretive programs to guests.

Starting as a temporary receptionist, I was offered an administrative position after a month and asked to stay on permanently. I assisted Business Development and Communications teams in creating and editing important documentation for clients, company newsletters and website content. I began head of the Safety Committee, organizing and facilitating monthly meetings for the office, ensuring safety codes were observed and up-to-date, and managing PPE data reports. I organized corporate meetings and events, trained new receptionists and carried out Office Manager duties. I was put in charge of record management for legal and confidential documents through Iron Mountain and was in charge of invoice processing, vendor setups and expense management for the Business Development crew.
