• Provide production L3 operation support for a large number of Oracle databases versions 9i, 10g & 11g under different platforms like Linux, UNIX (Solaris) & AIX.• Provide primary DBA role assigned to multiple world-wide mission critical databases as the single point of contact for business and application team.• Playing key role in the escalation resolution and management related to database performance incidents.• Database administration activities: Installation, Patching, Tuning, Backup, Recovery, Capacity planning, CPU/PSU patching.• Proactive Database Management: elaborating health check scripts, tuning top queries, identifying design gaps.• Identification of problem trends and root causes; implement permanent fix to prevent recurrence.• Supporting 10g and 11g RAC environments w/o ASM, including few exadata environments.• Database Streams/Golden Gate replication support.• Support and configure physical standbys using Data Guard.• Work closely with application & development teams: Provide advises on design, help with PL/SQL coding.

Load that information in Oracle staging tables and invoke some stored packages and API to populate Oracle production database.
