Oversee all aspects of tax compliance for Jackson's insurance entities. Many of these entities have operations in all 50 states, international reporting requirements, and continued growth on the horizon.

Tax compliance and consulting for many of Rehmann's most complicated business clients. Many of my clients had consolidated returns, multi-state and local compliance needs, and have international reporting requirements. Continued to work with the banking practice, as I prepared/reviewed most of the firms financial institution returns.

All aspects of tax compliance for Capitol Bancorp and its subsidiaries. Capitol Bancorp as of 11/17/08 had nexus in 17 states and had more than 70 entities under its control. Primary job functions include: Federal and State income/nonincome tax returns (including 7 unitary returns with differing consolidated groups), information return reporting (1099,1098,etc), restricted stock compensation calculations, Federal and State deferred tax asset calculations and reconciliations, sales and use tax return compliance, personal property tax returns, and assist with internal and external auditors/regulators audits/exams on all of the above mentioned responsibilities.

Multiple duties for multiple banks. Some of the primary job functions include: Quarterly Call Reports, FR2900's, Accounts Payable, Sales and Use tax returns, 1099-MISC reporting, monthly reconciliations.

A Touch of Paint was a residential and commercial painting company I created while attending college. I ran all aspects of the company including: Marketing, Accounting, Sales, and General labor. Although this company was created by a college student, we were never mistaken as the typical "college painters". I led 3-15 employees in two states on multiple projects simultaneously. Our work was represented in multiple homes included in Lansing's annual "Parade of Homes". Some of our biggest projects were the multi-million dollar 150+ unit apartment buildings being built for the elderly and retirees.
