Within this exciting and strategic role, I oversee and drive all aspects of College advancement, marketing and communications, alumni relations and career services as well as partnership programs in order to strengthen relationships and add value to our diverse constituencies.

Enabling the great work of HBU by providing operational leadership and oversight for the Office of Advancement including our capital campaign, annual fund strategy and implementation, alumni relations, advancement services, donor relations, and overall department processes and systems.-Cultivate relationships with an assigned group of donors as a development officer with the goal of encouraging meaningful engagement and support of HBU.-Serve as development officer liaison assigned to HBU's School of Christian Thought to support the Dean: enabling and facilitating their initiatives-like our work with Lee Strobel and the new HBU Center for American Evangelism- and helping to engage and connect constituents to the students and work of School of Christian Thought.-Enable, initiate and oversee Advancement communications: website, general newsletters, PG newsletters, solicitation letters and emails, promo materials, and other collateral.-Encourage and facilitate collaborative fundraising strategies with various campus departments and enable the implementation and follow up of those plans.-Ensure appropriate systems and software is functioning well and providing data, reports and on-going research to enhance communication, solicitation strategy, and decision making. -Serve as Advancement's primary interface partner with IT to ensure systems and software functionality support fundraising initiatives.

Successfully attain assigned fundraising goals through personal interaction with donors including cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship; led the annual solicitation efforts of the Student Advancement Team. Served on $110 Million "Keeping Faith" capital campaign fundraising committee that met regularly; worked with this team on solicitation strategy and implementation. Develop and initiate annual giving solicitations through on-campus call-center and for on-line giving. Assisted with stewardship and donor fulfillment. Developed and coordinated young alumni outreach programs. Recruit, train, coach and manage 20 student callers. Provide philanthropy education programs for students and young alumni. Developed, planned and implemented a planned giving calling outreach with Senior Director of Development using retired staff and faculty.
