Jackson was named Baylor’s Executive Senior Associate Athletics Director for Governance and Regulatory Affairs in January of 2023. In addition to leading the NCAA Compliance program, Jackson has oversight of Title IX, Student Conduct Administration, Policy & Procedure, Risk Management, Audit and other regulatory aspects of the Athletics Department. Jackson continues to serve on the Athletics Executive Team and as the Baseball Sport Program Administrator. Jackson has led and participated with numerous national, conference and institutional committees. In 2018, Jackson chaired the Athletics Department strategic initiative team which yielded One Standard. One Accord. - the Athletics Department's mission statement, operating principles and core values. Presently, he chairs the Big12 Bylaw 1.3.3 Committee and serves on the Big 12 Autonomy Issues Group.

Jackson was named Baylor’s Senior Associate Athletics Director for NCAA Compliance in June of 2011 having served administratively the previous 12 years at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Jackson serves on the Executive Staff and Senior Staff within the Baylor Athletics Department and maintains indirect reporting to the University President. In his role, Jackson oversees the NCAA Compliance Program, Sport Program Administration and serves directly as the Baseball Sport Program Administrator. Jackson has served on numerous national and conference committees. Presently, he chairs the Big12 Bylaw 1.3.3 Committee and serves on the Big 12 Autonomy Issues Group.
