As the Operations Manager at Horizon Strategies, I oversee the smooth and efficient execution of short-term contracting tasks for government clients. I manage the entire onboarding process for new employees, from creating and sending offer letters to collecting and verifying administrative data. I also ensure the compliance and quality of all contracts and deliverables, and continually revise and improve the operational, human resources, and financial processes throughout the company.With over 8 years of experience as an Infantry Officer in the US Army, I have developed strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills that enable me to lead complex teams and projects in challenging and dynamic environments. I have coordinated, resourced, planned, and executed senior-level military events and ceremonies, handled sensitive information and products, and communicated effectively with senior-level leaders and department heads. I enjoy being part of a team and helping an organization and its personnel grow and develop.
