CurrentOversee all aspects of the Supply Chain for Valpak, leading teams in Purchasing, Planning & Scheduling, Warehouse, and Logistics. Planning, prioritizing, and directing the organization's activities to deliver against targets for financial performance. There is a strong focus on coaching and developing talent. Sourcing Strategy and Execution: Responsible for over $50 million of spend. Define and execute the sourcing strategies based on business needs, category strategies and market insights. Assess business requirements, perform data analytics, forecast demand, and identify baselines for purchasing that meet prioritized business requirements.Logistics: Responsible for inbound and outbound transportation, engaging key business stakeholders. This includes coordination of domestic and oversees transportation, sourcing events, and frequent business reviews with partners.Planning & Scheduling: Oversee the planning of supplies, schedules, and goods movement throughout the internal manufacturing process as well as coordinating outsource materials. Active in forecasting demand, materials, and output of production processes.Warehouse: Lead a team of over 60 people who coordinate production materials incoming, in-process, and outgoing throughout a highly automated Lean facility. Institute a culture for continuous improvement of process and employee development.Sales, Finance, Support: Team is highly engaged in sales forecasting, support, costing, margin analysis, as well as new product development. I was highly involved in the development of a new product in conjunction with the USPS to add a new revenue stream for the company. We were able to quickly evolve this product to add 14 million postcards/month to the program. Also, were able to expand our Solo postcard program from a few thousand to over 3 million per month through outsource vendors.
