I'm an engineer.To me, this means not simply solving a problem once but rather building systems to solve problems. My work is diversified and reflects my background first in integrated circuits and later in computer science, as software became my preferred tool for solving problems and building systems. I transitioned away from hardware because I found my spark in coding. My experience in hardware and hardware systems has translated into a deep understanding of how the code I write works at a low level, and I often find that solutions in one domain are solutions in the other.I enjoy working on a team that pushes me, and I find immense satisfaction when my work helps anyone, even if only a little. I am an avid learner and always like to be learning something new or diving deeper into something I want to know better. Currently, I’m diving into deep learning and AI to see how I can use these tools and techniques to solve new problems.My specialties include quickly picking up new skills / languages / frameworks, open-ended problem solving, abstracting and breaking apart complex behavior, knowing what I should try next. In terms of tech, I am skilled in: Python, SystemVerilog, Java, C, SQL, Git, PyTorch, AWS (Sagemaker, API Gateway, Lambda), Linux, Unix.
