Chanda Walker is a financial services and legal professional who began working at the Washington DC-based Fannie Mae in 1998. Chanda currently works in Portfolio Risk Management where she manages an extensive diverse loan portfolio of multifamily loans for numerous large and small lenders. Chanda began her career here as a Senior Paralegal where she held key roles in the Securities, Multifamily and Trademark areas. Ms. Walker transitioned to Asset Management in the Loan Administration and Credit Risk areas where she managed teams responsible for closing and managing a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of debt transactions. She has held numerous leadership roles in asset management and credit risk management. Prior to joining Fannie Mae, Ms. Walker worked 12 years at the law firm of Hunton & Williams as a Senior Paralegal in the Richmond, Virginia office. She trained and led a team of Securities paralegals in public and private offerings, shelf registrations, private placements, and various corporate and transaction-based responsibilities. Ms. Walker also worked in the Real Estate group where she provided document, survey, and title assistance on various corporate real estate transactions. In addition to residential and commercial real estate transactions, her specialty included extensive title, survey, and UCC work. Ms. Walker is a leader. She is experienced in data analytics and has proven asset management and customer account management skills with a demonstrated ability in areas of conflict management and resolution. Ms. Walker is a Virginia native who holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
