With over 20 years of experience in mechanical engineering and sustainable architecture, I lead Buro Happold’s DC region practice, serving clients in higher education, cultural, government, and commercial sectors. I am a licensed Professional Engineer, an ASHRAE Fellow, a LEED Fellow, and a Building Energy Modeling Professional.I am passionate about creating high-performance buildings that elevate the human experience, preserve the historic and cultural context, and reduce the environmental impact. I have contributed to two AIA COTE Top 10 projects, the Wayne Aspinall Federal Building and the Smithsonian Institution Renwick Gallery, as well as numerous other award-winning and innovative projects. I also share my knowledge and insights as a lecturer, author, and speaker in various industry publications and events.
