I am a dedicated and passionate student pursuing the Diploma in Aerospace Electronics at Singapore Polytechnic and a Private Pilot's License Holder at the Singapore Youth Flying Club, hoping to leverage my abilities in Singapore's forever-advancing aerospace industry.Having always been interested in aviation, I joined the Singapore Youth Flying Club Open Unit as my second co-curricular activity, in addition to the Chinese Orchestra. Through this, I have gained many valuable insights from the fundamentals of flying through ground schools and hands-on activities inclusive of aeromodelling and flight simulations. I was intrigued by how numerous complex departments are managed together to ensure the safe utilization of flying machines, including airplanes and drones. Thus, this encouraged me to apply for the early admission exercise for the Diploma in Aerospace Electronics. In my current course, I have learned how circuits can be applied in aircraft from the fundamentals of the servomechanism module. I have also learned about the electrical system and power supply of aircraft from the aircraft electrical system module. My school also prepared me to hone basic aircraft maintenance practices with skills such as wire locking and crimping. To expand my knowledge, I took commercial pilot theory, unmanned aircraft flying, and drone technologies as my electives.Apart from my hard skills, I am an outgoing individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. These abilities were honed through yearly camps and sports events at my secondary school, where I was able to interact with new people. As a sectional leader for the Chinese Orchestra, I managed the organization in my team and became the best-performing section. From these experiences, I believe that I can improve the atmosphere and work culture within my future team while also achieving the goals of the company.I am academically driven, which can be seen from my awards and certificates. I was also a finalist in Infineon's Chips@School competition in 2018, focusing on green energy. Hence, I wish to be a part of the aerospace sector in the future, achieving not only a safer sky but also a greener sky for aviators.
