Hired to build a strategic initiative to optimize cash utilization through the Loan Acquisition program. Overseeing the acquisition of a diverse $1 billion loan portfolio from three different vendors, primarily comprising house and car loans, I played a pivotal role in co-owning and initiating loans to enhance our financial portfolio.

Led the transformation of a 16-member team into three specialized units, addressing a project comparable to Comcast's with only two dozen individuals. Successfully navigated the transition to SAFe, splitting teams based on product development and project utilization. Aligned deliverables with operations' needs, fostering collaboration and efficiency. Recruited and led a significant Network as a Service (NaaS) team, driving advancements in infrastructural automation and network management integration through cutting-edge methodologies.

Revitalized the team's estimation methods, implementing metrics to enhance utilization and streamline sprint planning, ensuring realistic commitments and target achievement. Recruited to define Agile/Scrum usage for Arrow E-Commerce, led teams through successful major platform upgrades and modernization with Microsoft Navision and SAP Hybris, specifically focusing on order fulfillment and checkout processes.

Drove the Portfolio Management tools modernization initiative, including DEEP Migration (Disciplined Enhanced Equity Platform). The primary focus was on seamlessly integrating equity ETF tools with CSIM's (Charles Schwab Investment Management) equity portfolio management tools, significantly boosting trading speed and expediting basket construction, particularly during narrow market windows. Successfully transitioned fund managers from reliance on Excel worksheets to a sophisticated software solution, a challenge compounded by the clients' contentment with the familiar Excel interface despite managing multi-billion-dollar funds.

Recruited to lead transition to Agile methodology, overseeing and coaching Agile squads dedicated to the suite of online appointment scheduling platforms, frameworks, services/microservices, and administrative applications. Implemented structured weekly meetings among Product Owners to synchronize dependencies and align deliverables. And independently mastered EasyBI, creating a range of flexible metrics charts and personalized dashboards for each Scrum Master, enabling informed decision-making and enhancing overall team performance.

Recruited to improve the productivity and processes and to guide a conversion to an Agile methodology. Manage the business and technical aspects of multiple projects relating to the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System.

● Managed end-to-end management of emerging technologies, led team transitioning R&D-developed products, including One-Touch video and MAA, to commercial product groups. Pioneered a groundbreaking product utilizing early AI and social media platforms for proactive customer engagement in over a dozen languages, enhancing customer support efficiency and issue resolution.● Led geographically dispersed development and quality assurance teams, transforming R&D solutions into marketable products. Mentor project teams to mature into Agile/Scrum frameworks, overseeing six simultaneous projects, each with up to 20 resources and budgets reaching $1 million. ● Provided end-to-end oversight for architectural design, development, testing, disaster recovery, and system releases. Manage team selection, onboarding, schedule planning, product backlog grooming, and lead governance processes for project managers while mentoring others in Agile conversion.

Retained to drive the delivery of multiple federally mandated software enhancements to exchange of passenger / customer information with foreign governments and expand participation with U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Secure Flight Passenger Validation Program. Contract extended following success to program manage 12 critical migration and consolidation projects to support merger. Collaborated with governmental agencies and internal business to define and reconcile requirements. Lea onshore / offshore teams of up to 20 in delivering projects valued up to $9 million.

Recruited on contract to turn around 9-month behind project to implement key enhancements into mission-critical web-based Wyoming Client Information System (WCIS). Drove the adoption and execution of Agile/Scrum best practices to align deliverables with evolving business and regulatory needs. Interfaced with product manager to define themes for 2-week sprints; restructured and reallocated team; and educated development team on Agile best practices. Assisted in analyzing business processes and developing improved business workflows. Managed team of 9 developers, quality assurance testers, and business owner.

Built an impressive record of achievements planning, defining and ensuring the delivery and enhancement of mission-critical OPSControl system supporting more than 30 airline clients in both a hosted and client production environments. Chosen following the sunset of OPSControl system to lead team in conducting feasibility studies to design the Next Generation Flight Planning System to replace 35-year old legacy application.

Retained on contract to oversee the delivery of a key middleware solution for Galileo International client (now Travelport). Planned, defined and led team of 4 in designing, developing and implementing interfaces between internal Galileo Reservation system and 2 external Air Fares supplier applications to ensure information access of flight and fares information. Selected Projects & Achievements:• Led all efforts to deliver major initiative under budget and one month ahead of schedule. Drove the creation of interfaces to provide airline availability information to external airfare providers and subsequently to numerous travel reservation suppliers, reducing costs of fares and ensuring competitiveness within the marketplace.

Fast-track promotions overseeing the design, development and rollout of complex, high-transactional systems, interfaces and applications for this leading airline. Kept on and promoted following divestiture of Sabre by American Airlines.Selected Projects & Achievements:• Identified key inventory spoilage issue. Discovered and resolved software architecture / design flaw; and developed programs and processes to return $50 million of available inventory.• Drove the utilization of newly designed code generation system prototype that was forecasted to reduce time-to-market by 75%.
