I am a B.S. Computer Engineering student at MSOE graduating in May 2024. I have internship and diverse, team-based project experience and I am a part of the Rocket League esports team which I devote up to 8 hours per week with a full academic schedule. I was unsure as to which side I was more passionate about. Throughout my education I have learned to love software much more than hardware. I do enjoy seeing the hardware aspects as well due to the tangibility and interesting interactions; however, software encapsulates my brain and intrigues me every day. I never knew I wanted to be an engineer until I was a senior in high school where many people and surveys said engineering would be a great field for me. I love to learn; furthermore, I enjoy learning how different, intricate systems work. I always knew I wanted a career revolving around technology but I was never sure where to go. The engineering field is perfect for me as I can always learn and apply my new skills. Additionally, I can optimize processes and ideas to create more efficient solutions which I did many times through my hobbies. As for some of my hobbies, I am a very competitive person and have been since high school. In high school I played football, basketball, and baseball; however, due to injuries, I am mostly a spectator now. I enjoy watching many sports and playing video games competitively and casually as well. Additionally, I have always been intrigued by airplanes as my father was once a pilot and took me to air shows. You will most likely see me at the Oshkosh Air Show each year.
