With a core focus on the federal market, Alliant Healthcare Products provides quality, cost-effective medical device products and services. As a contracting intern, I am responsible for supporting a customer-focused culture dedicated to delivering high quality service and creating a positive experience for all customers (government, commercial, VAR/Surge/OEM Partners, external company partners, distributers, field sales and Alliant members, etc.), developing strategic relationships with all customers and maintaining good working relationships through constant communication. Providing cross-functional operations support including contract maintenance, contract related sales and operations support, developing and implementing proactive controls to assure full contract compliance with regulations, price reduction clauses, etc., and ensuring that pricing and contracts are current, updated, and communicated is essential to this position.

Capital Languages is an English language school and official examination center of the University of Trinity College London and the University of Cambridge. During my time studying and living overseas in Bilbao, Spain, I worked as a conversation instructor. The main focus of this position was to help prepare students for oral examinations through conversation topics according to their level of English. The job required me to come up with activities and topics of discussion that covered the goals of each student.

As a member of the customer service team, I was responsible for taking police reports, entering parking tickets, individual projects from Julie Carbine (Head of Police Dispatch), and taking overflow dispatch calls. This position required me to become LEAN certified, a state and federally recognized certification.

As a Freshman in College, myself and another colleague were put in charge of parking for all Grand Valley State University Sporting events. Football season was by far our most important, and busy time of year. During the fall football season, I was in charge of managing sixty-three other students to collect parking payments, distributing lot tickets, and assuring that our cashiers had sufficient funds in order to continue our game day operations. I was also responsible for counting all profit and confirming that number to my next in charge, Garron Lucious, Assistant Athletic Director.
