Recruitment· Participate in recruitment effort for exempt and nonexempt personnel by managing advertising (job boards, newspaper, radio etc.) and collection of applications using the applicant tracking system.· Evaluate all applications· Perform phone interviews and participate in face to face interviews· Facilitate the ANOVA hiring process ensuring all forms are completed and signed off on.· Facilitate new hire orientation.Training & Development· Assist in organizational training and development efforts.· Conduct new associate orientations.· Assist in administration of compensation program; help to monitor performance appraisal process and track paperwork.Payroll and Benefits· Maintain Human Resource Information System records and compile reports from database as needed.· Facilitate new hire benefits training.· Support benefits broker in presenting annual enrollment, collecting paperwork, answering questions.Safety· Prepares and conducts annual safety training classes.· Maintains liaison with outside organizations; such as fire department and local clinics to assure annual training is compliant.· Submit & manage documentation for Worker’s Compensation claims.· Conducts accident investigations and works with departments to correct safety hazards and develop preventative procedures· Ensures medical documentation is collected.· Performs job hazard assessments and recommends measures to control exposures, including substitution of less hazardous materials, personal protective equipment (PPE), and work practice changes.· Assists in DOT compliance.Other· Assist in directing incoming phone calls to the proper person· Manage facility communication boards (HR, safety, quality and productivity)· Develop and implement all personnel policies and procedures and maintain handbook for same· Coordinate with managers and supervisors to resolve all employee issues.· Assist in exit interview process.· Other duties as assigned
