Technology Consultant II at Zerto, an HPE CompanyA United States Marine Corps veteran, I worked as a Satellite Communications Operator and Maintenance Marine. This launched my career into the tech / IT industry.In 2013 when I was honorably discharged from the Marine Corps I worked as a Field Service Engineer for EMC in Columbia, SC getting familiar with and performing repairs, maintenance, and installations of enterprise storage and technologies.In 2015 I moved to Massachusetts to move from hardware service to the software and support side of the field. I worked for a small EMC third party reseller providing backend storage support for small businesses.2016 is when I found Zerto and came onboard as a Level 1 Software Support Engineer. During my tenure I was promoted to Level 2 Software Support Engineer performing advanced troubleshooting and log analysis.2018 I had found Kaminario, now Silk who has cloud storage technology that is cutting edge. I joined that team as a Technical Support Engineer II performing tasks such as installations, upgrades, technical problem solving, and generating internal educational materials.Jan 2023 The opportunity to rejoin Zerto under the Professional Services Team banner had became available and as I am always looking to advance my career, I hopped on the opportunity to come back. In this role I will be performing customer onboarding, disaster recovery best practices planning, installation, and operations tasks such as planned failovers.
