My initial focus was on applied psychology and consultation, but due to the increasing prevalence of cloud-based solutions, I shifted my focus to education.During my tenure as a Clinician at Lindamood-Bell Learning Processes, I applied my psychological knowledge in a practical setting. This experience significantly enhanced students' learning outcomes in crucial areas such as reading, writing, and math.After my experience as a tutor at Lindamood-Bell, I pursued a career in special education. I worked as a substitute teacher in two schools and eventually landed a permanent SETSS/ICT teacher position. In this role, I applied my research background to implement evidence-based practices that helped my students succeed academically.As a "warm demander," I promote each student's success. I use culturally responsive teaching to ensure this success, creating an inclusive and empowering learning experience for all students.I have recently finished a Master of Arts in Teaching program at the Relay Graduate School of Education and am currently fulfilling my certification requirements. I am interested in pursuing professional development opportunities to enhance my skills and achieve personal growth.
