RoseLaw is a firm dedicated to providing specialized legal services to the families of special needs children or disabled adults. Our services include, but are not limited to guardianship, special needs trusts and special education advocacy. RoseLaw is also interested in helping parents and caregivers obtain up-to-date information about legislation that may help them and provide valuable links to resources in the field of special needs and disability through our new and expanded website. RoseLaw is also dedicated to helping the families of disabled persons lobby for increased benefits at the state and federal level.

As staff attorney at the Rockford office of the Illinois Guardianship and Advocacy Commission, I was responsible for providing both legal advice and legal representation in order to protect the rights of disabled children and adults. I also was appointed by the courts in Kane, McHenry and Lee Counties to make sure disabled individuals enjoyed all the rights provided to them under the mental health laws of the State of Illinois.
