As a Rosedale Classroom teacher, I teach OSSD high school curriculum in the subjects of Business, Economics and History and support student academic success and learning skill development. I actively contribute to instructional effectiveness assessment by helping students learn better and perform at their courses.

At Colégio Rio Branco, I teach Language Acquisition, Current Affairs and ICA courses. I work with middle and high school students. I plan, prepare and deliver activities and tests. I also devise teaching materials intended to help pupils improve their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills in individual and group classes. As for the ICA lessons, I work collaboratively with other teachers and take an interdisciplinary approach with other subjects such as Geography, History, Mathematics and Sciences. The ICA is designed around the needs of the developing adolescent brain in order to improve the way 11- to 14-year olds learn. The Current Affairs course prepares high school students to gain and expand knowledge to obtain higher grades in entrance university examinations/admissions in Brazil and overseas. Apart from that, I am also responsible for marking and assessing tests, activities and projects .

I was responsible for planning the organization of the BSS course structure in the school and the lessons that followed the BSS-DP. I prepared lessons, lesson materials, wrote and followed schemes of work based on the year curriculum and devised remedial procedures for students who failed to attain a passing grade. In addition, I marked students’ production in accordance with the IB and the school assessment policy as well as provided reports on students’ performance.

I devised the year outline for the Middle Years Programme, along with ELA classes, materials, activities and assessments. I developed and assessed Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking on a regular basis. Student-centeredness and project-based learning played an important role in the classroom and lessons were based on these pillars. Marking students’ work and providing reports on their development was part of the job as well as intervening when learners struggled. Should pupils fail a term, I also prepared plans and taught recovery lessons.

At Móbile, I assisted the English teacher with the work in the classroom and the lesson planning in the Middle School segment. I helped design class activities, quizzes, materials and short-term projects. I corrected students’ activities and taught remedial work lessons regularly. I also planned and delivered lessons during holidays for students who did not perform as expected in the semester.

Taught children, teenagers and young adults. To do so, I was fully responsible for planning and delivering lessons according to the various learners' profiles varying from beginners to proficients (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2). Lessons were composed of a myriad of modern and diverse methodologies and approaches, especially in the sense of student-centeredness, gamification and project-based learning. In addition, I taught preparation courses for students who intended to succeed in Cambridge Examinations, ENEM and university admission tests (Vestibulares).

Taught teenagers both groups and one-to-one lessons. These students were mostly from Miguel de Cervantes, Colégio, Porto Seguro and Escola Móbile. At Centro Britânico, I was in charge of developing and delivering lessons focused on learners' needs and preparing students for proficiency international exams and Vestibulares.

Leader of over 30 students in a cultural and study exchange program in Cambridge and in Rome. For this experience I was responsible for the management and care of the teenage students in the exchange program regarding timetables, flights, hotels and field trips, and arrangements with the school they studied in the city of Cambridge.

Taught students who had finished high school and intended to enter prestigious universities by writing very competitive entrance exams (Vestibulares for Medicine). At Hexag, I first worked as an assistant teacher correcting open-question answers, answering individual questions, and then became a teacher and taught both human and physical geography entirely.

The Brazilian Ministry of Tourism (2011 – 2012) – Dimensioning and characterization of tourism in Brazil. I conducted surveys with tourists from all around the world in the International Airport of Sao Paulo in order to identify the Brazilian tourism profile both nationally and internationally.

Taught in the public educational system of São Paulo. Worked with seventh and eighth grades as well as high school students. I had to devise lessons and tests, organize content and planning for the whole academic year.
