Founder and President of a small, construction company with a focus as a tenant improvement contractor. Consistently networked and built long-term relationships with local real estate brokers, the main source of project bids. ➣ Oversaw and managed all design, permitting and construction activities in both the Washington D.C. and Atlanta regions, as well as national “build to suit” projects. ➣ Oversaw the construction of 12M+ sq. ft. of new property valued at $350M, over a 12-year period.

In charge of the day to day project management of multiple large, retail construction projects in the SE Region, with extremely tight deadlines and set budgets; oversaw several direct reports.➣ Managed construction projects for stand-alone drug stores to multi-tenant power centers. Key clients included: CVS, Joann Fabrics, Bed/Bath & Beyond, Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, Home Depot, Publix, Stonecrest Marketplace and Camp Creek Marketplace.➣ On-site Project Manager at Camp Creek Marketplace, with over 750,000 sq. ft. of big box and white box tenant space consisting of over 70 different projects working simultaneously. ➣ Successfully completed every project on time and under budget during five-year term.➣ Challenged to identify, interview and lead numerous sub-contractor teams in new cities, with no existing relationships in those areas. ➣ Created and published detailed RFPs on a regular basis. ➣ Negotiated sub-contractor contracts and confirmed all state and local building permits.

Held multiple roles; initially hired as a Project Engineer in the Interiors Division and later promoted to the Shell side as a Project Manager. Instrumental in key projects that included the 270 Peachtree Street core renovation, The Atlanta Committee for the Olympic Games HQ, the Theragenics bio-medical facility and numerous concrete tilt-wall distribution centers.
