As part of the Operations and Product Support department at Booking.com, I dealt with urgent car hire requests and bookings, provided the best quality of service to both customers and suppliers.In this fast-paced environment, attention to detail, high adaptability and resilience are essential, together with a proactive approach. My main duties consisted of communicating with Suppliers to confirm or amend bookings to ensure a frictionless experience for the customers, securing suitable alternatives/best value deals for the customers, in case their original request failed, also communicating these offers to them via email and also over the phone. As part of the Support team within Operations I received inbound phone calls from Customer Service Advisors who need assistance with bookings, also Suppliers who reported a Fleet fail, require information and request an action or follow up.
