Assisted in the development of housing strategies (greenfield & brownfield) for Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO). The most substantial project being the Wickham Accommodation Expansion (WAE). The WAE project is a key support project to supply accommodation for the planned increase in iron ore export capacity for RTIO in it's Pilbara operations. Stage 1 of works is to meet the accommodation requirements to be able to output 283mtpa by 2013, from it's current capacity of 225mtpa. Stage 2 is to expand to 353mtpa by 2015. The current scope of works for both stages is a 500+ lot subdivision, 400+ residential homes, 600+ motel style FIFO accommodation units, FIFO mess facilities, associated infrastructure upgrades, and community facilities. Examples of other projects I have managed or assisted with include a large traffic study throughout the west Pilbara, brownfield developments, a subdivision development in Port Hedland, and a Hotel Development Feasibility.
