Across my 20 year career I’ve been learning & applying many facets of food from farm to fork in my work and home. Experiences in produce sales gave me a foundation and interest in retail, which brought me to the philosophy the end consumer comes first—always.My training as a chef led me into food science, a multitude of different skills & disciplines used to develop foods that can leverage key consumer insights to create best possible products. When people discover who I am and sometimes ask what I like to cook, the reality is that it depends entirely upon the ingredients.I have a passionate interest in food systems, production, ingredients, quality, and the people who work to feed the planet. In my current role, daily immersion in fluent conversational Spanish gives me an opportunity to revive and improve lost knowledge and skill set.
