The Hampton Inn is a brand new property that opened in June of 2013 and being apart of the opening has given me first hand experience in all aspects of the hotel industry. As a duty manager, I am in charge of many aspects of the hotel including: payroll, accounts receivable/payable and bank deposits. I am responsible for gathering sales lead that could result in long-term business. I provide great customer service to our valued guests, I always make sure that all guest requests are completed, resolved guest complaints and issues in a courteous and timely manner. On a daily basis I can manage anywhere from two to a dozen staff, it is my responsibility to ensure they are treating every guest with excellent customer service while completing their daily tasks. I am also in charge of conducting interviews and hiring staff for all positions in the hotel.

As an assistant manager at Dairy Queen I am responsible for the restaurant when I am on shift, I am responsible for the other employees as well as overseeing their duties and making sure they get completed properly. I always make sure that they are providing excellent service to the customers. I make the workplace environment is cheerful and fun while still getting all the work done properly. In addition as an assistant manager I help with scheduling, place the weekly orders, do inventory and I do my best resolve any problems that may arise between employees, customers and general store maintenance without contacting the manager or owner. I am a key holder, and I know how to correctly open and close the store. I always maintain excellent customer service, and I work exceptionally well with fellow employees.

At the Goldeyes stadium I did a number of different duties other than serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. I helped organize and serve the patio parties some were 20 or more; I had to ensure that Goldie’s grill delivered the correct food at the right time in order to satisfy the customers. At the bar I had to place orders for the beverages needed in order to stock the fridges to their correct amount. At the end of each night I was in charge of balancing my till and cleaning the bar area. In addition to bartending I worked as a runner for the skysuites, I would organize and deliver orders from the kitchen and other restaurants to the suites at the correct time, I assisted the servers in gathering drinks and cleaning up and always made sure the skysuites bar and snack area was clean and stocked.

During my employment at Starbucks, I was responsible for serving the customers in the store and in the drive through. I would take orders, make and serve the drinks and food to the customers. I was exceptional at the cash register and was able to effectively handle difficult situations with customers. I always provided excellent service to the customers and got along with my fellow employees.
