Responsible for the day-to-day management of the Special Mission aircrew roster IAW Company and CAA policy. Ensuring ISAR and LEON systems are up to date. Coordinating information from different sources into management and financial spreadsheets. Responsible for organising meetings and taking minutes, ensuring management are aware of any issues that could arise within the department. Assisting the management of Special Mission finical processes up to and including creating invoices. Liaising with crew members to ensure all post flight reports are sent in a timely manner. Management of aircrew uniform, liaising with external companies for resources.

Doncaster

Responsible for the co-ordination and production of a legal, safe and efficient aircrew roster in line with regulatory and company guidelines. Monitoring daily operation disruptions ensuring any changes are in support of the crew flight time limitation and considering any human factor issues. Assist the training department in their absence, along with working alongside them to ensure all aircrew and trained and complaint IAW company and CAA regulation. Liaise with maintenance control to coordinate maintenance plans with the flying programme, ensuring the operational capability of the business was not affected.

Raf Marham

Responsible for managing a team to effectively and safely carrying out the supervision of maintenance of Survival Equipment for F35 aircraft. During this role I was responsible for the safe working environment and practices of maintenance. Ensuring all personnel worked to a high standard by ensuring all technical publications and documentation was complied with in accordance with government regulations, digital air publications and air engineering standing orders. A key aspect of the role was supervising the carrying out of fault rectification and repairs. Working well under pressure I undertook management role while on operations as the senior member of the team. I carried out logistics management which ensured all documentation, tools and personal flying equipment was correctly packed and transferred in preparation for operations on HMS Queen Elizabeth. During ongoing tasking my role including mentoring members of the team to ensure they reached their full potential. Included delegating tasks and ensuring all team members had a full understanding of the tasking and ensuring strict deadlines were met. Liaising with other areas of the squadron and ship to ensure operational capabilities were not affected while maintaining a high level of flight safety. I expanded the role into staff development by running teaching sessions at group and one to levels depending on individual needs. This included the practical sessions on the equipment as well as teaching documentation. This has ensured personnel are knowledgeable and experienced ready to embark on operations in the UK and overseas, with a 100% success rate of students passing. Enhancing my understanding of mental fitness procedures in the workplace and acknowledging welfare issues that arose to create a safe working environment for all personnel involved.

Rnas Culdrose

Maintaining survival equipment for merlin aircraft. Identifying replacements and carrying our fault rectification under supervision. Ensuring documentation was filled out to reflect the relevant digital air publication (DAP). Enhanced my communication skills by having a key role in briefing passengers in preparation for flying in merlin aircraft. This expanded over difference audiences from the sectary of state for defence to junior members of the royal navy. Working in a small team to carry out anti-submarine warfare tasking. This required flexibility and planning to ensure we were at a state of readiness at all times. Taking charge of logistical needs of items required. Raised flight safety issues to superior officers when procedures hadn't been carried out correctly. This required speaking to the commander in charge of the deployment when he himself had not followed a procedure and creating a report regarding the incident. Carried out planning and preparation for the equipment required by the aircrew to ensure that deadlines were met. Deadlines included ensuring all kit was in place for the first aircraft to land on the HMS Queen Elizabeth.

I was also trained as a shoe fitter, this role included providing tailored fitting of shoes to children while maintaining high level of customer service. Part of this role would include refilling of stock and the organisation of the stock room.
