With the rapid development of Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence technologies, the avionics industry has started trying to integrate such applications into their systems. To do so, applications developed for single-core systems need to be adopted on modern architectures while respecting the constraints imposed by the industry. OpenMP appears to be a good candidate for quickly distributing tasks to accelerators and error-handling via task redundancy. Is it true? Let's find out!
