Cherise Lee Email and Phone Number
Hi there! My name is Cherise, and I am a rising senior at Naperville North High School in an eager pursuit of becoming a medical professional. My journey through science and healthcare is driven by an insatiable curiosity to understand the intricacies of the human mind and body. Equally important to me, is my deep rooted passion for supporting one of the world’s most vulnerable populations: our youth. I dedicate much of my time volunteering as a tutor with the goal of educating the younger generation, while also being an advocate for embracing one's cultural identity, as a Chinese American Woman.Taking initiative on my passions is the one thing I live by. I am constantly seeking for and grasping at every opportunity, be it tackling another AP course, acquiring new skills, or meeting new people. Embracing life’s diverse experiences and challenges has taught me that learning is a lifelong journey, and I find excitement in a world brimming with questions.—This drive led me to join Naperville North’s biggest competitive, state-placing science team, where I proudly earned 18 individual medals. It is also how I discovered my interest in forensic science along with my peculiar fascination with true crime and thriller. This ambition inspired me to try badminton for the very first time, resulting in the honor of competing at the state level. It also pushed me to become a leader in organizations like CAWA Youth and Chinese Yoyo Club, where I became an advocate for Asian American youth and mental health. Apart from my scientific persona, my artistic interests include graphic design, photography, and the performing arts.To my peers and community, I am seen as a mentor, leader, teacher, coworker, teammate, and friend. Personally, I embrace my roles as a biochemistry enthusiast, forensics geek, outspoken advocate, and freelance photographer.
