I have more than 26 years of award-winning experience in the fields of education research, curriculum development, school leadership and motivational speaking for public schools, post-secondary institutions and education companies. KEY AREAS OF EXPERTISE:• Educational Leadership & Consulting• Equitable Student Success Initiatives• Institutional Effectiveness• Curriculum Development WHO I WORK WITH: I work closely with district stakeholders, teachers, parents and students to research and develop optimal curriculum designed to promote student success. I have served in a variety of educational leadership roles for schools and education companies alike. As the CEO of EduPower, I enjoy speaking and consulting for schools, tutoring companies and nonprofit organizations in the education sectors. WHY IT WORKS: I’m currently pursuing my EDD in Educational Leadership. My academic and professional experiences have allowed me to meaningfully impact thousands of students, parents and educators around the country through EduPower and my ongoing experiences as an educator and school administrator. WHY I’M DIFFERENT: In 2015, I was asked to be the principal for one of my clients (Summit Academy Charter School in Brooklyn, NY). During my 4 years in this role, I led efforts to improve the school’s culture, parental involvement, and state assessment scores. The outstanding results from my programs caught the attention of the Ellen DeGeneres Show, which invited me to speak on the show five different times and awarded our school $25,000 (the largest educational award ever given out by the show) as well as additional support for our students.BEYOND THE CLASSROOM: I enjoy playing golf, singing, dancing, reading, traveling, and spending quality time with my family and friends.
