As the Strategy Intern, I spent my time researching new restaurants opening that could benefit from our services; snooping through restaurants websites, menus, and social media to see how our services may help their business; and went to restaurants with my manager to pitch business owners/managers our services in person. I conducted a survey that received 200+ responses to analyze the impact of social media on RVA restaurants. With these insights, we developed an infographic to take to clients to show the significance of successful social media marketing. To increase brand awareness of Heard! Marketing, I developed an event plan that would involve a local nonprofit fundraiser and industry professionals coming together, although it did not come to fruition during my internship period.

-Implemented brand specific standards through customer engagement, employee development, and visual merchandising-Maximized store sales and achieved store sales goals, monitored sales progress and results against KPIs-Implemented protocol for team development and the recruiting and hiring process-Responsible for scheduling and assisted in running store team meetings to communicate new brand information and store successes/ opportunities for coaching purposes-Headed seasonal store resets to freshen merchandising and push product sales
